My previous posts have been about our efforts in gardening and growing our own food and herbs. It is a challenge to grow without using pesticides. The fruits and vegetables may not be as pretty as the ones in the store, and the fruit you may have to share with a worm. Growing up on a farm, we always said “If it is good enough for the worm, it is good enough for me.” In my post, I showed you pictures and explained how we harvest our herbs for our own use. I want to encourage you to start a garden and include herbs. The organic food in the store can hurt your budget, and when you grow it you will know what you used on the plants, fruit, and vegatables.
It takes time to establish your herb garden and learn to harvest the results into teas and tinctures. As we age, 2 main areas of interest to seniors are memory loss and mobility. There are many herbs that have helped others and my goal is to find the answer. I have learned to use AI and ask questions. One AI that I really enjoy is brighteon.ai. I use the AI ENGINE, and after asking three questions to Enoch, you will be asked to sign in with an email. Don’t worry it is free. Ask questions about health, wellness, ingredients, finance, or survival… It can also be downloaded to your computer and used without the internet. This can be convenient when the internet is down or you are in a remote area that does not have internet connection.
Brighteon also has a store and many of the herbs I have written about in other bolgs can be purchased on the site. Perhaps you don’t have the time to grow the herbs then purchase them from Brighteon. https://www.brighteonstore.com/?rfsn=8915517.769455&utm_source=refersion&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=8915517.769455
I am an affiliate marketer and highly recommend this site for your herbs and survival items. I receive credit for your click to the site and compensation for your purchase. They aim for 100% certified organic products. This site can be trusted to provide what it states on the site. You can also click on the Brighteon.ai and ask Enoch a question.
I retired at 79 but I am trying to find ways to keep busy. We must stay active physically and mentally. If you can’t run then walk. If you can’t teach a class of students then find someone to mentor. I have written a few small books that are available on Amazon. If you enjoy my blogs support me and purchase my book: “My Journey with Kiki. It would make a great present for the kids/grandkids.
Other ways to keep busy is offer assistance at your church. You may not want to teach a class but there are other seniors that could use a ride to church or some companionship. Food pantries and soup kitchens need help if your church has them. Make a difference in someone’s life today. Jesus makes a difference in my life everyday.
